The Still Salon 2019 Exhibition is part of the Still: National Still Life Award 2019 events program. It run for a two-week period from 18 October – 2 November and features a sculpture by White Bluff mixed media artist Mark George.
Following on from the success of Still Salon 2017, this time-honoured tradition of a ‘salon’ exhibition is happening again in 2019. Local artist and former gallerist Nick Kachel along with Coffs Harbour Regional Gallery staff, Jo Besley and Cath Fogarty, made this year’s selection of 36 works from 100 local artists stretching from Byron Bay to Port Macquarie.
Still Salon 2019 focuses on the genre of still life across all art forms including painting, mixed media, ceramics, collage, textile, sculpture, photography, printmaking and drawing.
