White Bluff Project Exhibition Dates confirmed There is very little in the world that has been unaffected by the current Covid-19 pandemic. The White Bluff Project is no different. Restrictions on public events and gatherings, gallery closures and the effect of lockdowns on artists, has manifested itself in many ways.
Firstly, the exhibition dates for the final showing of art works has been pushed back from an original date in February to an opening date of 19 March 2021. The exhibition will take place at Coffs Harbour Regional Art Gallery and will continue through to 22 May 2021.
Artists are busy working on their final pieces for this showing and we will endeavour to give you more frequent updates and inspiring snippets of images as the date draws closer.
So how will a pandemic manifest itself in the final artworks?
Check out this SBS news piece featuring White Bluff artist John Van Der Kolk, discussing that very thing.
The White Bluff Project has always been, first and foremost, about collaboration - encouraging its art, science and community members to collaborate in unique ways as they take a closer look at the beauty, fragility and individuality of this local landscape.
